This week it has been well-being week in school. Each day had a theme.
Here’s a sneak peek at some things we got up to.
On Tuesday it was ‘give’. We collected food for the foodbank and we also gave compliments and smiles to those all around us.
On Wednesday it was ‘keep learning’. In our group, we split ourselves in to mixed key stage pairs and taught each other a new skill. Some children taught others their hobbies such as drawing, ballet and some dance moves. Others taught each other skills such as tying shoe laces or solving some tricky maths questions!
On Thursday it was ‘keep active’. We took part in some warm up games before working in small groups on some circuit training activities. We then ended the day with a ‘walk and talk’.
On Friday it was ‘take notice’. We created a ‘shout out’ tree and all wrote each other shout outs on the leaves and ‘grew’ our tree from compliments. We thought about the qualities in our friends and peers that we are thankful for.
Throughout the week, we completed ‘connect’ by working in groups of children from reception to year 6.
